Feast of Lord-Protector Jarmanidath

The Feast of Lord-Protector Jarmanidath was a recognized holiday by the Galactic Empire's Culture Ministry, originating from the Colonies region. When the TIE pilots of the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing threw a celebration for their commanding officer Shakara Nuress' birthday, they formally observed the Feast.

Biography

Hailing from a world within the Colonies region, the Feast of Lord-Protector Jarmanidath was a relatively unknown holiday. Although the Galactic Empire's Culture Ministry sanctioned the holiday, the reason for this escaped Yrica Quell, a TIE pilot serving with the Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing. Xion, a fellow pilot of Quell's, once suggested that the Culture Ministry's approval was a mistake they were too ashamed to admit. The pilots of the 204th formally observed the Feast by commemorating the birthday of their commanding officer, Colonel Shakara Nuress.

As the years passed, the birthday celebration gradually accumulated more traditions than the actual Feast itself. Captain Samran Phesh, one of the pilots, strongly opposed the gathering and prohibited his own squadron, Squadron Six, from participating until 5 ABY. By this time, Nuress had already perished and had been succeeded by Major-then-Colonel Soran Keize. Despite the loss of Nuress, the 204th pilots continued to celebrate her birthday with the Feast of Lord-Protector Jarmanidath that year, and Phesh was declared the Lord-Protector's jester by his squadron.
