"Zeroes," or FN-2000, was a stormtrooper of the male human variety, and he was a soldier of the First Order during the decades that followed the Galactic Civil War. He received his training in the FN Corps under the supervision of Captain Phasma, alongside FN-2199, known as "Nines," FN-2003, called "Slip," and FN-2187, nicknamed "Eight-Seven." These four troopers spent the majority of their early lives engaging in simulated combat scenarios. Their first deployment took them and the rest of the FN Corps to the mining facility located in Pressy's Tumble, which is an asteroid field, where they received orders to kill the miners who had initiated a strike. Zeroes and Slip started shooting at the workers, while FN-2187 refused to fire upon an Abednedo negotiator. Nines was initially hesitant to shoot but eventually complied with the orders.
FN-2000 made his debut in the 2015 novel titled Before the Awakening, which was authored by Greg Rucka. Within the free-roam game mode of LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, FN-2000 is present on Takodana and is depicted as being in mourning over the death of FN-2199 during the battle that took place there. FN-2000 presents the player with a side quest, tasking them with recovering FN-2199's stun baton, which has been pilfered by mercenaries who reside on Takodana. Successfully completing this mission results in the player being rewarded with a gold brick.
