Futhork

Futhork represented the more recent of two writing systems employed by the human residents of the planet Naboo, with Futhark being the other. This script saw usage among commoners in casual settings. Futhork's presence was widespread on starship computer screens and status readouts (as seen on Queen Amidala's Royal Starship and N-1 starfighters), and also on the helmets of engineers working for the Royal Naboo Security Forces.

A commemorative plaque given to a mortician on Naboo also featured Futhork. The inscription read:

In 5 BBY, signs created with hand-painted lettering in this script were visible outside a store selling screens located on Ferrix. A pink sign stated "MADE TO [obscured]," while a blue sign read "WHILE YOU WAIT".

Djarin console Futhork on the console of Din Djarin's N-1 starfighter During the New Republic Era, Futhork was present on the console of Din Djarin's N-1 starfighter. A blue circular screen, acting as a hyperspace map, displayed the words "SYSTEM READY," "M," "FLIGHT," "PT," "STB," and "ON." The central greenish-blue navigation display showed indicators for "P" (port), "D" (directly ahead), and "S" (starboard). The blue enemy proximity warning indicator located on the console's right side displayed "SYSTEMS ONLINE • TURBO BOOST ENACTED • LIFE SUPPORT ACTIVE." However, after Din Djarin departed Nevarro, the entire image became mirror-inverted when Gorian Shard's gang appeared, causing it to flash red.

During the war between the First Order and the Resistance, Futhork was also in use among the inhabitants of the sole outpost on Ashas Ree.
