Galaxy's Edge, a component of The DarkStryder Campaign, unfolds as an exciting adventure within The Kathol Outback. The setting for this adventure is 8 ABY.
The FarStar's arrival at the planet Danoor is prompted by their need for a navigator, essential for traversing the nearby Kathol Rift. The Lance of Endor had previously visited the planet, making exorbitant and seemingly impossible demands on behalf of the New Republic, compelling Captain Kaiya Adrimetrum to demonstrate their benign intentions to the planetary government. Danoor's government insists on a trial: they require assistance in retrieving a lost probe droid from the system's asteroid belt.
Adrimetrum consents, guiding the FarStar to the probe droid's location. During the retrieval mission, they encounter a group of Tuhgri attempting to salvage parts from the droid to repair their own vessel for their journey home. Collaboratively, the two crews work towards their shared objective before a significant seismic event devastates the asteroid.
Upon returning to Danoor, they seek information regarding a navigator who can guide them through the Rift, leading them to Makezh. They also uncover a clandestine alliance between Minister Waric Nane and Sarne's forces, while Minister Mooren is revealed to be affiliated with the Danoor Resistance. He entrusts the FarStar crew with a message to transmit upon entering the Rift, hoping it will summon the Aing-Tii to aid Danoor.
Crew members from the FarStar venture into the capital city, Eror Zeen, in pursuit of Makezh. Initially, Makezh, fearing for his life, flees from the crewmembers. The crew pursues him across the city's rooftops, encountering both an assassin droid dispatched by Nane to eliminate them and the bounty hunter known as Mist. Evading their pursuers by descending into the sewers, the crew reunites with the FarStar at their shuttle.
In orbit, the FarStar transmits Mooren's message into the Rift, preparing for departure. However, their exit is interrupted by the arrival of the Lance of Endor, accompanied by a Star Destroyer, emerging from hyperspace. During the ensuing battle, the FarStar's starfighters, with the assistance of the Aing-Tii, successfully destroy the Star Destroyer, and the aliens obliterate the Lance of Endor. With Danoor now relatively secure from Sarne's influence, the FarStar proceeds into the Rift.
