Goll

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, a male Twi'lek named Goll was a member of the Free Ryloth Movement. He participated in the hunt down of Darth Vader and Emperor Sheev Palpatine after the movement brought down the Star Destroyer Perilous and their shuttle. Goll, along with Cham Syndulla, Isval, and Kallon, discovered the corpse of Nordon, who had unsuccessfully tried to assassinate the two Sith Lords. Subsequently, they were attacked by Gutkurrs and had to be rescued by Faylin aboard his ship. They continued their pursuit, locating their targets in a canyon village. Their assault on the village led to an engagement with V-wings, resulting in the deaths of everyone except Goll, Cham, and Faylin, who managed to escape.

Following this defeat, Goll departed from the Free Ryloth movement, yet he continued to serve his home planet. In 13 BBY, one year later, Goll procured a shipment of gattis-root extract from the Karthakk Group for the Twi'lek elders on Ryloth. This was because the Empire had limited the supply of gattis-root extract in order to locate Free Ryloth insurgents who were fugitives. Accompanying him were "Clinician" Trae Baratha from the Karthakk Group, who was present to collect payment after the delivery; Hera Syndulla, whom he had persuaded despite her disagreements with her father, Cham; and the crew of the YT-209 freighter Eclipse: Captain Krysiant Rheden, Ul'ligan, the Nikto gunner, and Eira Tay, the Sephi gunner. As their ship, disguised as the freighter Tirion, entered the Ryloth system, it was scanned by an Imperial cruiser and granted clearance. Three Imperial V-wings intercepted the Eclipse, but the rebels, despite sustaining damage, shot down the enemy starfighters after a brief aerial battle. Goll contacted Dianthy, who was designated to receive the delivery in Lessu. Approaching the capital city, Hera landed the Eclipse in a disused commercial landing zone outside the range of Imperial monitoring stations. The rebels delivered their supplies and completed necessary repairs. Before the Empire could intercept them, the crew jumped to hyperspace, heading for Manda as their drop-off point. Goll commended Hera on her leadership abilities, which she exhibited after the Eclipse's captain was injured in the dogfight.
