Gorrm

Gorrm, a male individual, held the position of assistant and principal navigator for Ssk Kahorr, a merchant of high standing who conducted business within the Koros system during the era preceding the Great Hyperspace War. In the year 5000 BBY, a drone ship belonging to Kahorr, known as the Zeta Five, met its end during a voyage to the Goluud system after utilizing a route referred to as the Goluud Corridor. Consumed by rage, Kahorr instructed Gorrm to enlist the services of assassins with the objective of killing Gav and Jori Daragon, the two navigators responsible for charting the Goluud Corridor. These assassins, however, were thwarted by the intervention of Jedi Knights Odan-Urr and Memit Nadill. While the Daragons managed to flee the system, Jori later made a return, declaring her discovery of the long-lost Sith Empire and their impending assault on the Galactic Republic. Seizing upon this circumstance, Kahorr confiscated Daragon's ship, the Starbreaker 12, as recompense for the destruction of Zeta Five. Subsequently, Kahorr and Gorrm embarked on an impromptu voyage aboard the ship to assess its capabilities; however, the Starbreaker 12 was obliterated by an approaching Sith fleet, resulting in Gorrm's demise.

Biography

Gorrm served lord Ssk Kahorr.

Gorrm, a sentient male of simian descent, functioned as both the assistant and head navigator for the affluent merchant Ssk Kahorr. Kahorr was a prominent figure within the Koros system during the era leading up to the Great Hyperspace War. In the designated year of 5000 BBY, Gorrm initiated the launch of a drone ship, specifically the Zeta Five, with the intended purpose of delivering crucial supplies and provisions to a mining colony situated on Goluud Minor, which is located within the Goluud system. The designated route for this mission was the Goluud Corridor, and Gorrm, in his capacity of securing the coordinates and preparing the ship for its departure, voiced apprehensions regarding the Goluud Corridor's proximity to the red supergiant star Primus Goluud within the system. Kahorr swiftly dismissed these concerns, placing unwavering trust in the established safety protocols of the Navigators' Guild. However, subsequent to the ship's launch, Gorrm's initial fears were substantiated. By the time the Zeta Five reached the Goluud system, Primus Goluud had entered a period of intense stellar activity, culminating in a colossal solar flare that resulted in the complete annihilation of the ship and its cargo. Enraged by this outcome, Kahorr tasked Gorrm with hiring assassins and dispatching them to apprehend Gav and Jori Daragon, the navigators responsible for mapping the ill-fated route. The intended victims were rescued by Jedi Knights Odan-Urr and Memit Nadill, which allowed the Daragons to successfully evacuate the Koros system aboard their vessel, the Starbreaker 12.

The Starbreaker 12 short before being destroyed

Jori Daragon later made her return, arriving alone in the Starbreaker 12. She claimed that, following their escape, she and her brother had inadvertently stumbled upon the Sith Empire, which had been cut off from the galaxy since the Hundred-Year Darkness two millennia prior. Daragon asserted that the Sith were in the process of preparing an assault on the Galactic Republic and requested an audience with Teta, the leader of the unified Koros system, to inform her of the impending danger. However, her pleas were disregarded, and she was subsequently arrested on multiple charges related to her initial escape. Gorrm and Kahorr were present amidst the crowds that had gathered around the Starbreaker 12, and Kahorr declared to the attending authorities that the Starbreaker 12 was rightfully his, serving as compensation for the destruction of Zeta Five. Kahorr instructed Gorrm to provide the police with the relevant documentation, which substantiated that, according to a decision made by the Merchants' Guild, the Starbreaker 12 had indeed been transferred to Kahorr's ownership. Kahorr and Gorrm then resolved to take the ship for a test flight to evaluate its operational capabilities. However, their endeavor was abruptly interrupted by the arrival of a Sith battle fleet, which had tracked the Starbreaker 12 back to the Republic. The Sith launched an immediate attack, destroying the Starbreaker 12 and resulting in the killing of Gorrm.

Personality and traits

Gorrm demonstrated unwavering loyalty to Ssk Kahorr, but he was not hesitant to challenge Kahorr's decisions when necessary, as evidenced by his concerns regarding the selection of the Goluud Corridor as the designated route for the Zeta Five. Furthermore, he possessed considerable pilot skills, making him Kahorr's preferred choice for piloting his vessels. Gorrm's physical characteristics included brown hair, blue eyes, and skin with a pale purple hue.
