Greeata Jendowanian

Greeata Jendowanian was a Rodian of the female persuasion, famous for her work as a vocalist and dancer within the ranks of the celebrated Max Rebo Band.

Biography

Greeata present at the Galaxies Opera House, in the background, center.

Near the conclusion of the Clone Wars in 19 BBY, a conflict waged between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, she was present at a performance of a Mon Calamari opera held on the planet of Coruscant. Four years following the pivotal Battle of Yavin, Greeata and the other musicians of the Max Rebo Band were contracted to perform for Jabba the Hutt within his palace located on Tatooine. They played the song "Jedi Rocks" for the Hutt, who wanted them to play it again. However, he threw his slave dancer Oola into his rancor pit during the performance, causing the band to stop playing and be both shocked and annoyed. Greeata was clearly shocked at seeing Oola devoured by the rancor, and then saw Princess Leia Organa arrive at the palace disguised as the bounty hunter Boushh, accompanied by the Wookiee Chewbacca as her supposed captive. While on Tatooine, she was adorned with an orange crest and gold jewelry.

Jendowanian and her fellow bandmates were impressed that Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker had killed Jabba's rancor. She imagined that he had done so to get revenge for fellow Twi'lek dancer Oola for being fed to the beast by Jabba.
