Grimorg, a male Weequay who operated as an enforcer, worked for Bogga the Hutt, a crime lord connected to the Stenness Node. This occurred approximately 4,000 years prior to the Battle of Yavin. Grimorg held the rank of officer aboard Bogga's flagship, the Enforcer One, utilizing this warship to pursue individuals who had wronged the Hutt crime boss. Additionally, he functioned as a palace enforcer for Bogga at his estate situated on the moon of Vo Dasha.
Around 4,000 BBY, Grimorg played a role in the capture of a team of pirates led by Finhead Stonebone, who were in the process of siphoning ore from a Nessie ore hauler. Grimorg subsequently transported Stonebone to Vo Dasha, placing him at Bogga's disposal. Bogga chose to spare Stonebone's life, instead compelling him to lead a group of pirates and enforcers, including Grimorg, to Ambria with the objective of recovering a missing shipment of Adegan crystals and eliminating Jedi Master Thon, Bogga's sworn adversary. Grimorg accompanied the party to Ambria, where the crystals were soon located within Master Thon's compound. Unexpectedly, Thon surrendered without resistance, and Grimorg aided in securing him for transport back to Bogga. However, during this process, the group was attacked by Nomi Sunrider, Thon's Jedi apprentice. Sunrider decimated the invading force with her lightsaber, and Grimorg was quickly struck down.
Grimorg, a male Weequay, served as an enforcer for the Stenness Node–based crime lord, Bogga the Hutt, roughly 4,000 years prior to the Battle of Yavin. As one of Bogga's most devoted palace enforcers, Grimorg dedicated the majority of his time to tracking down and capturing those who had wronged the crime lord. Furthermore, he successfully recruited several members of his Weequay clan to join Bogga's enforcer gang. Grimorg's group achieved considerable success, and as of 3999 BBY, Grimorg had yet to experience a failure in any of his hunts. When pursuing a target, Grimorg operated aboard Bogga's flagship, the dreadnought known as Enforcer One, where he faced the challenging task of maintaining order among the numerous Weequays, Nikto, Klatooinians, and Vodrans who served as crew members and boarding troops.
In 3999 BBY, while serving on the Enforcer One, Grimorg encountered a group of pirates in the act of siphoning valuable ore from a Nessie Ithullian ore hauler within the Stenness Node. The Enforcer One assigned Dreebo, one of Bogga's pilots, to defend the ore hauler, but Dreebo's starfighter was swiftly destroyed. As the pirates, under the leadership of Finhead Stonebone, boarded the hauler, the Enforcer One arrived on the scene and ensnared the pirate ship in its tractor beam. With the pirates apprehended, Grimorg commanded the Enforcer One to proceed to Bogga's estate on the moon of Vo Dasha. Upon landing on the moon, Grimorg presented a chained Stonebone, along with his pirate accomplices, to Bogga. Grimorg forced Stonebone to kneel in the dirt before the crime lord, leaving the pirate's destiny in Bogga's hands. Bogga offered the pirate an opportunity for redemption, promising forgiveness for his crimes if he completed a task—traveling to the desolate planet of Ambria to recover a lost shipment of Adegan crystals and eliminate Jedi Master Thon, Bogga's sworn enemy. Stonebone initially refused, prompting Bogga to unleash his hssiss pet, Ktriss, upon Stonebone's first mate, Roko. Ktriss brutally killed Roko, compelling Stonebone to accept Bogga's offer.
Following Stonebone's agreement, a group composed of imprisoned pirates and Hutt enforcers was assembled to journey to Thon's compound on Ambria. Grimorg joined this diverse company, and the group embarked for Ambria in a convoy consisting of several sail barges. As the convoy traversed the wastelands of Ambria, Grimorg spotted Thon, accompanied by his Jedi apprentice, Nomi Sunrider, on the planet's surface. Grimorg instructed the barge's gunmen to fire upon the Jedi, but Thon successfully deflected the attacks using the Force. The convoy landed near Thon's compound, and to their astonishment, Thon refused to retaliate. As Grimorg worked to secure Thon and bring him onto their barge as a prisoner, one of Bogga's enforcers discovered the Adegan crystals within the compound. However, this discovery sparked a conflict between the enforcers and the pirates over who would receive credit for recovering the jewels. Grimorg initially remained uninvolved in the confrontation, as he was still occupied with the captive Jedi Master. Although he eventually joined the fray, he fared poorly and was knocked to the ground by one of Stonebone's pirates. While the two groups were distracted by the brawl, Sunrider activated her lightsaber and launched an attack. Despite Grimorg's encouragement for the group to eliminate the Jedi, he was soon slain by Sunrider.
Grimorg possessed a gruff and impolite demeanor towards his prey and harbored a strong dislike for Bogga the Hutt's adversaries, particularly pirates. He demonstrated unwavering loyalty to Bogga, who regarded him as a capable and trusted lieutenant. He held Thon in contempt, referring to the Tchuukthai Jedi Master as "a beast." However, he acknowledged Thon's impressive combat abilities.
Grimorg, armed with a pulse-wave rifle in combat, proved to be a highly effective enforcer in Bogga's service. He and his Weequay clan members possessed a unique skill known as short-range communication. This ability enabled Weequays from the same clan to communicate through intricate combinations of pheromones. Short-range communication allowed Grimorg and his clan members to efficiently encircle and capture their targets.
Grimorg's initial appearance occurs in the second issue of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi – The Saga of Nomi Sunrider, the second story arc within the Tales of the Jedi comic book series, penned by Tom Veitch and released from late 1993 to early 1994. He subsequently reappears in the third and final issue of the arc, where he meets his demise. In these issues, he is illustrated by David Roach. Additional information regarding Grimorg is provided in the 1996 reference book The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels, and he later received entries in the Star Wars Encyclopedia in 1998, the third edition of A Guide to the Star Wars Universe, Third Edition, Revised and Expanded in 2000, and The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia in 2008.
