Gus Talon, a moon orbiting the planet Corellia, became a focal point during the High Republic Era when the Nihil, a marauder group, hatched a scheme. This operation, overseen by Sabata Krill of Krix Kamerat's cell, involved both Corellia and Gus Talon. The Nihil's strategy included diverting the attention of the Jedi and CorSec to Gus Talon by instigating a union dispute, thereby enabling them to seize vessels from the Santhe Shipyards.
The Star Wars Legends continuity initially introduced Gus Talon in "Lucky," a narrative within the twenty-third issue of the Star Wars Tales comic anthology. Rob Williams penned the story, Michel Lacombe provided the illustrations, and Dark Horse Comics released it on May 11, 2005. Within current Star Wars canon, Gus Talon made its debut in the eleventh issue of the Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures comic series. Daniel José Older was the writer, Harvey Tolibao the illustrator, and IDW Publishing the publisher, with a release date of December 1, 2021.
