Harta, a male Ishi Tib, resided on the planet of Batuu, situated in the Outer Rim. He shared his life with his daughter, Salju, and was the proprietor of the Black Spire Station garage. He frequently journeyed across the galaxy, consistently returning with presents for the young Salju. On one particular day, he arrived home accompanied by a therii pet, which Salju subsequently named Elee. In the year 34 ABY, during the anniversary commemorating Harta's introduction of Elee to their family, the father and his daughter reminisced about an incident involving Elee accidentally overturning a barrel of oil.
Living in Black Spire Outpost, located on the [Outer Rim](/article/outer_rim_territories] planet Batuu, was Harta, a male of the Ishi Tib species. He was also the father to Salju, a human woman born around 9 ABY. In Salju's young years, Harta would travel extensively through the galaxy, always bringing back gifts and mementos from his travels. One day, he came home with a therii for a pet, and Salju decided to call her Elee. He even made Elee her own bed so she could be comfortable at night, but Elee often chose to sleep in Salju's bed instead. Salju enjoyed spending time in her father's garage, Black Spire Station, and Harta frequently relied on her to manage things while he was traveling for work. Furthermore, he showed his daughter the Surabat River Valley, where she would take Elee to enjoy some playtime.
During 34 ABY, on the anniversary of Harta's bringing Elee to Salju, Harta brought up a memory of Elee, who was getting bigger, knocking over a drum of oil. He jokingly said that Salju might like the therii more than him. Later, he inquired if Elee seemed content after Salju returned from visiting a friend, and he was pleased to hear that she was indeed happy.
Upon returning from his travels, Harta regularly presented his daughter, Salju, with gifts. He also placed his trust in Salju to oversee Black Spire Station in his absence and introduced her to the Surabat River Valley, a place she would later take Elee. He also constructed a bed for the young therii, ensuring her comfort during sleep. Despite expressing minor irritation with Elee due to her large size and unintended destructive behavior, he ultimately hoped Elee would find happiness with her new family in the valley and was overjoyed to learn that she did. Harta's skin was green in color.
Harta's attire consisted of a white shirt, a brown vest, pants, a belt, and boots, complemented by brown fingerless gloves.
Harta's creation was part of the official narrative established for Black Spire Station, a location within the themed area Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. This area initially opened at Disneyland Park on May 31, 2019. The character of the father made his debut in the Star Wars: Datapad mobile game, serving as a companion to the themed land. This debut occurred on the same day, through a series of transmissions titled "A Lifelong Companion."
