The Hidden Bek Base functioned as the central headquarters for the Hidden Beks swoop gang. This base, managed by Gadon Thek around 3956 BBY, was situated in the Lower City on the planet Taris. The facility included a sizable main chamber along with several areas off-limits to visitors, notably Gadon's private room which was connected to the main area via an elevator.
During their mission to rescue Bastila Shan, Revan and Carth Onasi journeyed to the Lower City, where they paid a visit to the Hidden Bek Base. They were greeted by Gadon and his protector, Zaerdra. Gadon informed Revan that the Black Vulkars, a rival gang under the leadership of Brejik, had enslaved Bastila and had also stolen the Beks' swoop accelerator, an item essential for winning the yearly swoop competition. Following the race and the subsequent conflict, which resulted in Brejik's demise, Gadon withdrew to his personal quarters to grieve over Brejik's passing.
Within Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, should the player character, embodying Revan, follow the dark-side path, they will accept Kandon Ark's proposition. Kandon Ark is a member of the Black Vulkars, and he wants Revan to race for their gang in the annual swoop tournament. To make this happen, Revan is tasked with assassinating Gadon on behalf of the Vulkars. Revan breaks into a restricted section, which causes the Beks to turn against him. Revan then proceeds into Gadon's private room and murders both Gadon and his bodyguard, Kaeira.
