Hissrich's sun

A sun, exhibiting a yellow hue, existed within the expanse of the Outer Rim Territories. The planet known as Hissrich orbited this sun; the planet was positioned far from the star, receiving direct sunlight for only a single hour each month.

Description

Located in the Outer Rim Territories, specifically within grid L-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid, was a yellow star. The planet Hissrich, a [jungle](/article/jungle] world, orbited this star and had a minimum of 28 moons in orbit around it. Due to its considerable distance from the star, Hissrich experienced direct sunlight for a mere hour per month.

History

During the initial stages of the Clone Wars, specifically in 22 BBY, the Confederacy of Independent Systems initiated an operation on Hissrich. This involved deploying droids to collect the energy stored in the planet's plants during its single monthly hour of sunlight. The Jedi Order dispatched Jedi Master Mace Windu and a small unit to investigate the Confederacy's activities on the planet.

Windu's team—comprising Masters Kit Fisto and Prosset Dibs, along with Jedi Knight Rissa Mano—landed on Hissrich and eventually clashed with the droid army stationed there, within the Subterranean Caves. The hour of sunlight on the planet's surface commenced during this engagement.
