Jarm Brock, a Zabrak individual, once shared a romantic connection with Shani Deva Lompop. However, their relationship ended, and Brock subsequently aligned himself with the criminal organization known as Crimson Dawn. As Crimson Dawn strategized their ambitious endeavors, Brock was tasked with infiltrating the operations of the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure in Mos Entha on the planet Tatooine. This infiltration was part of a deceptive scheme to manipulate Jabba into targeting the Hutt Council. The scheme succeeded, as Jabba became convinced that Bokku, a fellow Council member, was the mastermind behind Brock's presence. Consequently, he dispatched multiple teams with the objective to kill Brock and his enforcers. These attempts proved unsuccessful, leading Jabba to enlist Lompop, now operating as an information broker, alongside the bounty hunter Boba Fett, to accomplish the task.
The duo journeyed to a cantina situated in Mos Entha, where Brock ambushed them. Fett gave chase to Brock, who made his escape in a landspeeder, while Lompop confronted Brock's enforcers. Fett eventually caught up to the speeder and forcibly ejected Brock from the vehicle. He then restrained the Zabrak while awaiting Lompop's arrival. Upon her arrival, Lompop deceived Brock into believing she was there to assist him, as she stabbed Fett with a poisoned knife. Lompop then proceeded to interrogate Brock regarding his activities on Tatooine. Brock revealed that he was, in fact, working for Crimson Dawn, contrary to Jabba's belief that he was employed by the Hutt Council. When Lompop inquired about the whereabouts of the residents of Mos Entha, Brock disclosed that those who refused to join Crimson Dawn had been killed, and that the remaining residents, with the exception of a bartender, had abandoned Mos Entha rather than align themselves with the organization. Lompop responded with a remark about her dislike for cold food, before proceeding to consume Brock. She was, however, unable to eat his horns and left his head. She brought the head back to Jabba, as well as the poisoned Fett, and explained that the mission had not unfolded as anticipated.
