Biography

Jeremy Bulloch poses as the bounty hunter Boba Fett.

In Market Harborough, Leicestershire, England, Jeremy Bulloch was born during 1945.

Although Bulloch donned the Boba Fett attire, Jason Wingreen provided the character's voice (before it was replaced by Temuera Morrison's in the 2004 DVD). Bulloch mentioned in an interview that he had difficulty delivering Boba Fett's line from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, where he is seen observing a pair of stormtroopers as they load Han Solo onto the Slave I. While Fett says "Put Captain Solo in the cargo hold" in the film, Bulloch remembers mistakenly saying "Put Captain cargo in the Solo hold" during one of the takes.

Bulloch also took on the role of Lieutenant Sheckil when the initial actor couldn't perform. Later, he made a cameo appearance in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith as Captain Jeremoch Colton, who was piloting the Tantive III.

Bulloch collaborated with David Prowse, Michael Sheard, and Orli Shoshan in the UK fan film titled Order of the Sith: Vengeance and its follow-up, Downfall. Jeremy portrayed the father and commanding officer to the main character, Fuser Marucs. These movies were created to support Save the Children. He also had a cameo as himself (as a convention attendee) in the full-length fan film by the Paducah Imperials FanForce, Star Wars Fanboy, where he ironically muttered Han Solo's words from Return of the Jedi: "Boba Fett? Where?"

On December 17, 2020, Bulloch died at the age of 75 in a hospital because of Parkinson's disease, surrounded by his family. Mark Hamill and Daniel Logan, his Star Wars co-stars, along with the Boba Fett Fan Club, sent their condolences. Bulloch is survived by his wife, three sons, and ten grandchildren.
