Jinsol served as a member of the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry throughout the Galactic Civil War, which was waged against the Galactic Empire. After the Battle of Hoth concluded in 3 ABY, the 61st were in the process of repairing their CR90 corvette, known as the Thunderstrike, while located on the planet Ankhural.
While stationed there, a group of rebels—including Jinsol, Maediyu, as well as Twitch—were ambushed, and Jinsol sustained a fractured nose as a result of the altercation. Despite the possibility that the assailants were merely a minor gang, the rebel Brand was aware of Ankhural's high crime rate and became persuaded that they represented the "true authority on Ankhural" who desired the 61st's departure.
The character of Jinsol was featured in the 2015 book titled Battlefront: Twilight Company, authored by Alexander Freed.
