Kerrithrarr

Kerrithrarr, a Wookiee hailing from the Mid Rim planet of Kashyyyk, served as the representative for his species during the Imperial Era. Sometime between 4 ABY and 5 ABY, Kerrithrarr used a hologram to contact Princess Leia Organa of the New Republic. During this communication, he informed her that the last known whereabouts of her husband Han Solo and the Wookiee Chewbacca placed them near Ashmead's Lock prison on Kashyyyk, prompting Organa to wonder about their current location. Kerrithrarr expressed his desire for more information regarding Solo and Chewbacca's whereabouts, and the princess voiced her hope that the Republic could increase its efforts to free Kashyyyk from Imperial control. As their conversation drew to a close, Organa assured Kerrithrarr that the Republic would enhance its support for the Wookiees.
