Khalu was a Kyuzo of the male variety, operating as a member of the South Sector Sinners gang. This gang was based on the planet known as Burnin Konn. The Smuggler brought about his death as a consequence for Khalu's theft of cargo belonging to the Trade Spine League.
Khalu, as a member of the South Sector Sinners, spent time following the human thief named Riley around during the two standard_month she was associated with the gang. During the Iron Blockade, which was the Galactic Empire's attempt to keep the Anoat sector's inhabitants from finding out about their defeat by the Alliance to Restore the Republic at the Battle of Endor, Riley requested that her sibling, a young smuggler, kill the Kyuzo while in the South Sector Sinners' territory. This was done to retrieve the cargo from the Trade Spine League starship, the Cruel Mistress, after the Empire shot it down. The smuggler, upon discovering the Sinners had stolen the cargo, was then attacked by Khalu. Riley's sibling, however, killed the Kyuzo and successfully got the cargo back.
Khalu, a Kyuzo of the male gender, possessed [olive](/article/color]-toned skin and eyes of a yellow hue, characterized by pupils shaped like black slits. Upon meeting Riley's sibling, he voiced his surprise at their survival against the South Sector Sinners' thugs. Furthermore, he refused to engage in negotiations with the smuggler when they suggested resolving their conflict without bloodshed.
Khalu was equipped with a Kyuzo war helmet, along with bandages covering his mouth. In addition, he carried a DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle and multiple thermal detonators.
Khalu's creation was for the canon mobile game Star Wars: Uprising. Kabam developed this game for both iOS and Android platforms, with its release occurring in 2015. Within the game, he served as the boss for the Story Mission titled "Salvage of The Cruel Mistress." Before the 2.0 update of Uprising, his appearance resembled that of a Zabrak.
