Kidnapped!

Within the Mirrin sector, the New Republic Defense Fleet's squadron, known as Rapier Squadron, found themselves engaged in a battle against pirates. Rapier Leader, Poe Dameron, was successfully destroying numerous pirate starfighters when he was suddenly hit by an ion pulse. This caused his T-85 X-wing and his droid, BB-8, to become disabled, sending him spiraling towards the pirate frigate. Subsequently, the frigate jumped into hyperspace.

The pirates extracted Dameron from his X-wing starfighter and ejected BB-8. Despite being separated, BB-8 managed to signal Dameron using his welding torch, indicating he had a plan for Dameron's escape. After the pirates departed, BB-8 activated and left the hangar.

Concurrently, a pirate commenced questioning the New Republic pilot. The pirate pressed Dameron to reveal how he and the New Republic had discovered their location. To buy time, Dameron began recounting stories from his childhood. Meanwhile, BB-8 stealthily bypassed the pirates, accessed a control panel, and transmitted their coordinates to the other members of Rapier Squadron.

Elsewhere, Iolo Arana and the rest of Rapier Squadron were actively searching for Dameron without success. However, they then received the coordinates sent by BB-8. The squadron assembled and quickly traveled to Dameron's location.

Returning to the pirate frigate, Dameron was still sharing his story when the pirate grew impatient and ordered Dameron's ship to be scrapped and Dameron to be ejected into space. Just then, alarms sounded throughout the frigate, and Dameron realized that his squadron had arrived to rescue him. In the ensuing chaos, Dameron seized the blaster pistols from one of the pirates and took them all as hostages.

Soon after, Dameron expressed his gratitude to his fellow pilots for their assistance in his rescue. He then knelt down to BB-8 and thanked him for devising the plan that saved him.
