This force was part of the Expansionary Defense Fleet and Wutroow was stationed on the Nightdragon man-of-war named Vigilant. Following Picket Force Six's attack on the Paataatus species in 19 BBY, a Kiwu syndic attended the tribunal concerning Wutroow and Ar'alani, where they responded to inquiries about Thrawn's (Senior Captain Thrawn's) involvement in that engagement.
During Jixtus", the coordinator of the aggressive Grysk species, plot to bring about the Ascendancy's destruction in 18 BBY, Supreme General Ba'kif of the Expansionary Defense Fleet, observed that the Kiwu family had adopted a position of neutrality during the crisis unfolding within the Chiss nation. Consequently, he tasked Wutroow with engaging in conversation with Roscu, a captain serving in the Clarr family's fleet, after she declined communication with members of the Vigilant's crew regarding her presence above the planet Sposia.
