Kravas Drezzer

Kravas Drezzer, a male human, was a member of Preox-Morlana's security force on both the celestial body Four as a squad leader and subsequently on the planet Morlana One holding the rank of Sentry Corporal. During 5 BBY, he and a fellow guard, Verlo Skiff, neglected their assigned tasks and visited a brothel, where they took notice of Cassian Andor. Their irritation arose when a hostess chose to attend to Andor first, leading them to harass him.

Intoxicated, Drezzer and Skiff trailed Andor as he left the brothel and then confronted him. The pair's intention was to rob Andor of his credits, but Andor retaliated, overpowering both guards. Skiff met his death during the altercation, and Drezzer's attempt to negotiate with Andor resulted in him being fatally shot. Following this, Deputy Inspector Syril Karn prepared a report about the incident for Chief Inspector Hyne, who desired it to be officially recorded as an accident, given the guards' violation of regulations.

Biography

Neglecting Duties

During the Imperial Era of the Galactic Empire, male human Kravas Drezzer served within the Preox-Morlana corporate security organization (Pre-Mor), stationed on the planet Morlana One for a significant number of years. He previously held the position of squad commander on Morlana Four before his assignment as a Sentry Corporal and guard on Morlana One.

Hostess Gani attempted to distract Drezzer and Skiff.

In 5 BBY, Drezzer and his fellow sentry guard Verlo Skiff chose to abandon their designated posts and visit an upscale brothel located in Morlana One's Leisure Zone. There, the two consumed Revnog at the bar, waiting for one of the brothel's hostesses to approach them. During this time, the human Cassian Andor entered the establishment and ordered a drink from the alien bartender. After the bartender informed Andor that he would pay at the end of his stay, Drezzer eyed the new visitor and warned him not to pursue the alien, joking that she would send him home crying. The Sentry Corporal turned back to speak with Skiff when a hostess entered the room and approached Andor.

Becoming increasingly agitated at the continued wait for a hostess, Drezzer interrupted the conversation between the hostess and Andor, pointing out that he and Skiff had arrived earlier. The hostess reassured them that hostess Gani would attend to them, but Drezzer insisted that he did not want that host. The hostess told the sentry guard to behave, and he sarcastically conceded. Gani spoke to Drezzer and Skiff for a short moment before the corpo turned his gaze back on Andor, who looked back when his hostess left. Drezzer chose to take offense in the other patron looking over at him, taunting him with Skiff's backing.

Selecting the wrong battles

After Andor concluded his business with the hostess, he departed from the brothel. Drezzer and Skiff, both under the influence of alcohol, followed with the intention of harassing Andor and stealing his credits. As Andor reached the plaza's edge, leading to a causeway, the pair called him to a stop and began reciting excuses to fine him. Drezzer pulled his blaster out, prompting his arrestee to raise his hands and declare he was carrying 300 credits. The Sentry Corporal remarked that it was almost the exact amount he needed and asked Andor to bring it. Drezzer and Skiff's new acquaintance made the sentry guards search him themselves, Skiff rummaging his coat for the credits while Drezzer hit him with the blaster.

Andor then headbutted Skiff and grabbed Drezzer's arm as he attempted to fire at his adversary. Andor punched him in the throat, tackled him to the ground, then bashed his gun arm until he lost grip on his blaster. Retrieving Drezzer's sidearm, Andor furiously yelled at him and ordered him to get Skiff up. The corpo consulted his colleague, only to find Verlo had been accidentally killed in the short scuffle. Although Andor declared he was faking it, Drezzer tearfully insisted he wasn't, shooting a furious gaze at the man. Drezzer's expression then changes, as he seemingly concocts a plan to exact vengeance against Verlo's killer. Pleading with Andor, Drezzer tells him they will report the incident together as an accident, and Verlo died by mistake after a misunderstanding. Unconvinced, Andor steps forward with zero hesitation and executes Drezzer with a headshot.

Following the deaths of Drezzer and Skiff, Deputy Inspector Syril Karn launched an investigation into the incident, compiling a report on the altercation and his knowledge of Andor. Karn presented this report to Chief Inspector Hyne of Pre-Mor, who recognized Drezzer's name and described him as an unsavory individual, expressing surprise that he had not died years ago. Acknowledging that Drezzer and Skiff had violated numerous regulations and likely initiated a fateful confrontation, Hyne instructed Karn to classify the incident as an accident to gloss over the infractions committed by the deceased officers. However, the deputy inspector wished not to leave the case to rest, and tracked Andor to the planet Ferrix, leading a squad on an unsuccessful attempt to apprehend Drezzer's killer.

Personality and characteristics

Drezzer put on an air of confidence to intimidate others.

Kravas Drezzer, a male human, possessed light skin and dark grey hair, complemented by a mustache. Despite his rank as a mere sentry guard, he enjoyed acting authoritatively, attempting to intimidate Cassian Andor on multiple occasions, leading Hyne to consider him a highly disagreeable person. The Sentry Corporal frequently employed sarcasm in his interactions with others, such as Andor and the hostess. Upon Verlo Skiff's death, Drezzer wept and mourned his comrade, although he proposed reporting the death as an accident in an attempt to appease Andor.
