Ledick Firest

Ledick Firest was a soldier in the Rebel Alliance's military, holding the rank of colonel. This male human was a cold-weather specialist. During the year of 3 ABY, when the Galactic Empire attacked Echo Base on the planet Hoth, Firest was among the Rebel forces stationed there. He was part of the contingent positioned in the trenches, tasked with delaying the Imperial advance to allow for the evacuation of Echo Base. After Rogue Squadron's T-47 airspeeders successfully disabled one of the Empire's All Terrain Armored Transport vehicles, Firest shouted to his fellow soldiers, urging them to assault the now-vulnerable walker. However, before they could act, the airspeeders destroyed the Imperial vehicle in a large, fiery explosion.

Behind the scenes

The name Ledick Firest initially surfaced in the Star Wars Legends board game titled Assault on Hoth back in 1988. Later, in 2013, De Agostini's revived The Official Star Wars Fact File series, specifically the fifth issue, retroactively applied the name to an anonymous Alliance officer. This officer was portrayed by an uncredited extra in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, a film that premiered in 1980. The name's first appearance within canon occurred in the video game Disney Infinity 3.0, released on August 30, 2015. Despite the game not being considered canon, Lucasfilm Story Group member Pablo Hidalgo verified on Twitter that the names used for film characters in the game are regarded as canon.
