Lira Hardin

Lira Hardin was a female individual who was native to the celestial body known as Gall. Before the time of the Separatist Crisis, Hardin departed from her home on Gall to join the Judicials of the Galactic Republic. There, she underwent training to become a combat engineer and subsequently became a member of the Republic's 9th Engineering Battalion. Later, during the Clone Wars fought against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, she was reassigned to the Grand Army of the Republic for the duration of the war. During this time, she participated in the bombardment of the planet Xorrn near the end of the war. This bombardment led to the destruction of several Trade Federation core ships.

Following the Clone Wars, and the transition of the Republic into the Galactic Empire, Hardin remained in the 9th Engineering Battalion. However, after personally witnessing the subjugation of Rampa I, she chose to resign from her position within the Empire and return to her home planet. Despite her departure, the Empire soon pursued her to Gall, where they proceeded to bombard her hometown, with the goal of drawing out Jans Coorsa, a prominent Separatist leader residing on Gall. This event led to Hardin's involvement in clan politics, and she was eventually appointed as the patrician of the Hardin family. Despite her differing views from Coorsa, they maintained a level of mutual respect. Following the devastation of their village, Hardin successfully persuaded Coorsa to seek refuge on Xorrn, where they reactivated the Geonosian-constructed droid factories of Foundry Four and established an orbital repair yard. After Jans' death, Hardin found herself in opposition to his grandson, Kal Coorsa, whose ambition was to secure higher-profile clients, particularly the Rebellion.
