Lynnta was a female individual hailing from the planet of Mordal. During the time of the Galactic Civil War, she made her home in the city of Maborn. In the year 4 ABY, a firefight erupted between the Rebel Alliance and the forces of the Empire, trapping Lynnta and her family in the crossfire. In an attempt to save her immobilized daughter, she was struck and killed by blaster fire. Her spouse, Corwin Ballast, deeply mourned the loss of Lynnta and their daughter, carrying a picture of them in his boot as a remembrance.
Lynnta, a woman, made her home on the planet Mordal, specifically in the city of Maborn during the period of the Galactic Civil War. In 4 ABY, while residing in Maborn, she, along with her husband, Corwin Ballast, and their daughter, found themselves caught in a battle between the Imperial military and rebels, seeking shelter behind crates. When their daughter became unable to move within the area of conflict, Lynnta made an attempt to rescue her. Ballast followed his wife into the street, witnessed her being struck by blaster fire, and was subsequently hit himself.
Despite sustaining injuries, Ballast survived the incident. He regained consciousness several weeks after the skirmish, only to discover that Lynnta and his daughter had passed away and been laid to rest. Overcome with grief, he chose to keep a photograph of his family inside his boot as a way to keep their memory alive. Ballast departed Mordal and journeyed to Jakku, a planet in the Inner Rim that he considered desolate enough to remain untouched by war. While at Ergel's Bar, a cantina on Jakku, Ballast confided in Ergel, the bartender, explaining that he had sought refuge on this bleak world for the sake of his family, hoping it would be far from any conflict. He briefly reflected on the deaths of Lynnta and his daughter, reliving the battle on Mordal, before resuming his conversation with Ergel.
Lynnta was a deeply caring mother who was willing to risk her own life to save her daughter from danger. She shared a loving relationship with her husband, Corwin, who was deeply saddened by her passing.
Lynnta makes an appearance in a flashback sequence within Aftermath, a novel released in 2015 and penned by Chuck Wendig. This novel serves as the first installment in the Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.
