Mykapo, situated within the Outer Rim Territories' Mykapo system, was a planet. This world served as the homeworld for several individuals connected to Phoenix Cell, including Commander Jun Sato, his nephew Mart Mattin, Yosh Calfor (a private in the Alliance Military), and Mart's father.
A space battle occurred over Mykapo in 2 BBY, involving the Iron Squadron, Phoenix Squadron, and forces of the Galactic Empire. At a later time, Mykapo was subjected to a raid by the Krawg pirates, who stole credits.
Mykapo at one point maintained its own military for system patrols. Idrosen Gawat, one of the leaders from this military, would eventually become a member of Resistance High Command.
The name Mykapo originates from Mickey Capoferri, who was an executive producer for both Rebels Recon and The Star Wars Show.
