The Flophouse was a slum located in the docks. This dilapidated area was under the control of Vogga, a Hutt crime lord who conducted his illicit activities on Nar Shaddaa, the moon of Nal Hutta.
The Jedi Exile, while searching for Zez-Kai Ell, engaged with and aided numerous inhabitants of the flophouse.
In another room, the Exile encountered some Mandalorians. Mandalore then persuaded them to journey to Dxun.
Inside another room, the Exile came across a Bith scientist who requested that she retrieve a specific item from a Twi'lek. Upon locating the Twi'lek, she found him deceased and was subsequently attacked by a cleaning droid. Upon her return to the flophouse, she discovered the Bith had been killed by his own droid.
In the following room, the Exile met a refugee known as Lootra. The Exile then helped him reunite with his wife.
The expansive room was the domain of Mira, a bounty hunter. She escorted the Exile to this room under the pretense of meeting Visquis in the Jekk'Jekk Tarr, but then drugged her, stole her Space Suit, and departed. Later, the Exile encountered Zez-Kai Ell within this very room.
The Nar Shaddaa Flophouse was featured in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, a game developed by Obsidian Entertainment. The game offers players several quests that involve interacting with the flophouse's residents. If players opt for dark-side choices, they have the option to eliminate the crewman, Lasavvou, and Lootra. Furthermore, they will engage in combat with Zez-Kai Ell within the large room.
