Ninth Sister's lightsaber

The Ninth Sister, during her tenure as an Inquisitor serving the Galactic Empire, wielded a distinctive double-bladed spinning lightsaber. Initially, she's weapon shared a similar design with that of the Grand Inquisitor, but it was set apart by the presence of a spike on each side of the rotating component. Darth Vader briefly took possession of it during a skirmish on Cabarria after the Chas, a family of bounty hunters, destroyed his own weapon.

Sometime between 18 BBY and 14 BBY, the Ninth Sister exchanged her original lightsaber for an updated model. This newer version featured a more substantial hilt, a wider emitter, and a thicker rotating wheel.

In 9 BBY, during her final moments, the Ninth Sister impaled Daho Sejan, a Senator from Utapau, with her lightsaber, as she believed he aided Cal Kestis. She then proceeded to kill the Klatooinian twins, Koob and Lizz. During their climactic duel, Cal inflicted a wound on the Ninth Sister by slashing her chest, before ultimately decapitating her. Her lightsaber was left beside her lifeless body.

Behind the scenes

Her first lightsaber design.

The design of the Ninth Sister's lightsaber in the video game drew inspiration from the concept of a heavy axe. This design was also influenced by the weapon's initial appearance in the comic books.

The Aurebesh characters inscribed on the rotating wheel of the Ninth Sister's lightsaber spell out "MASDFGHJKLQWERTYUIOPZXCVBNMAASDFGHJKLQWERTYUIONMASDFGHJKLQWERTYUIOPZXCVBNMASDFGHJKLQWERTYUIOP". These characters correspond to the letters found on three distinct, standard keyboard rows, read from left to right.
