A male human hailing from the planet Corellia, Odair Bel-Opis functioned as the attaché for Grand Moff Lozen Tolruck during the Imperial occupation of Kashyyyk. This occurred in the months following the Battle of Endor.
Stationed on Kashyyyk at Lozen Tolruck's island fortress, Odair Bel-Opis acted as the Grand Moff's attaché. When Jom Barell's commando unit attempted to seize a shuttle platform, they were ambushed by Bel-Opis. Barell was captured, and Bel-Opis took his eye.
During the Wookiee insurgency, Bel-Opis advised Tolruck to remain within the confines of the fortress, even though the Grand Moff wished to hunt the native population. When Sinjir Rath Velus, disguised as Imperial officer Jorrin Turnbull, arrived at the fortress, he and Tolruck confronted him. While Tolruck's followers cheered, Odair engaged Sinjir in hand-to-hand combat, ultimately subduing the New Republic agent with a choke hold. However, Rath Velus managed to sabotage the Imperial control module, triggering a prison break. Odair attempted to kill Sinjir, but a Wookiee who had escaped attacked him, striking him in the head with a saw blade. As Odair fell, the Wookiee straddled him, and he screamed as the creature tore off his arms.
Serving as the personal attaché to Grand Moff Lozen Tolruck, Odair Bel-Opis was both competent and reliable. Possessing a straightforward and organized nature, Bel-Opis harbored no ambitions for Tolruck's position, making him an ideal servant. He demonstrated himself to be a ruthless and pitiless killer, and Tolruck regarded him as essential and uncomplicated, like a club. While stationed on Kashyyyk, Bel-Opis developed a dark, patchy stubble on his face, a reflection of the wild environment.
