Opaline Creed cloister

Before 4 BBY, the Opaline Creed, a religious organization, made their home in an old cloister situated outside the city of Templemarch on the planet of Crucival. Umu Seven, also known as Hazram Namir, a member of the Creed, once journeyed to a bazaar to procure supplies. Upon his return, he delivered these materials to the Creed's engineers, trademasters, and weaponsmiths. Afterward, he joined Pira Ten, another member of the Creed, in the cloister's grass courtyard. By 1 BBY, the cloister had deteriorated into ruins, which Namir used as a sanctuary when he fled from a battle. For almost a week, he remained there before departing and joining a procession of individuals leaving Templemarch.

Description

This ancient cloister, used by the religious group known as the Opaline Creed, was built just outside the city of Templemarch, located on the planet Crucival in the Outer Rim. It featured walls surrounding a grass area that was [yellow](/article/color] in color, where Creed adherents would sleep on blankets while gazing at the stars.

History

The cloister was situated on Crucival, as depicted in the map image.

The Opaline Creed took up residence in the old cloister around 4 BBY. In that year, Hazram Namir, a Creed member also known as Umu Seven, was dispatched from the cloister to gather resources from the bazaar. Ultimately, Namir came back to the cloister and gave the various components and devices he had gotten to the Creed's weaponsmiths, [engineers](/article/engineer], and [trademasters](/article/merchant]. Following this, he met up with his friend Pira Ten, also a member of the Creed, in the grassy courtyard where approximately a hundred other Creed members were sleeping on blankets. The two discussed the relatively calm period they were experiencing, which Namir found monotonous.

Within the subsequent four years, the Creed collapsed, and the cloister crumbled into ruins. In 1 BBY, after narrowly escaping a battle with the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry at the Galactic Empire's transmitter tower, Namir sought refuge in the ruined cloister, observing the distant conflict. The tower fell to the rebels the following day, and Namir spent almost a week in the cloister, surviving by consuming bird eggs and sleeping in his soiled clothes. Despite his reluctance to return to Templemarch, he decided to leave the ruins after noticing a line of people heading from the city towards the 61st's camp.
