The Orondia Refueling Station was a place to get fuel, situated on the planet of Orondia. A Bith was the proprietor of this station, which provided fuel for starships during the time of the Clone Wars.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, disguised as the mercenary known as Rako Hardeen, bought a vessel from a Bith trader located in Bilbousa on Nal Hutta. This was done to aid Cad Bane in transporting Moralo Eval. The seller made sure the ship only possessed enough fuel to reach his brother's filling station on Orondia. Once they arrived in their Luxury 3000 space yacht, Eval compensated the station owner and prepared to leave. However, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano noticed the crew, leading to a pursuit across the plains.
The Orondia filling station made its initial appearance in "Friends and Enemies," a 2012 episode from the The Clone Wars television show. The station's visual design originated from Dave Filoni's concept of a somber and desolate location that he envisioned Darth Vader might have frequented following the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. The design also drew inspiration from the truck stop/gas station featured in the 1995 animated movie Toy Story.
