On the frigid planet of Pagodon, a Quarren known as a Trawler, employed his trade. In a local public house, he, along with two other trawlers, menaced a Mythrol. Their scheme involved excising and selling the Mythrol's gills. However, before they could act, the Mandalorian, a bounty hunter, entered the establishment, diverting their attention. The Alpha Trawler then claimed the Mandalorian had spilled his drink. Ignoring this, the bounty hunter was then surrounded by the trio. The hunter swiftly subdued the three, and the Quarren, in an attempt to escape, was killed.
Following the fall of the Galactic Empire, a Quarren worked as a trawler on the ice planet Pagodon. In 9 ABY, at Ferryman's Reach, a settlement, this Quarren, together with two human trawlers, harassed a Mythrol inside a public house. The Quarren restrained the Mythrol on a table, while the Alpha Trawler, the leader of the group, suggested they could sell the Mythrol's gills at the nearby port. The Mythrol's attempts to offer his credits were ignored, and the Quarren pulled him up, allowing the lead human to threaten him with a knife.
Before the trawlers could harm the Mythrol, the Mandalorian, a bounty hunter, entered the bar, capturing the lead trawler's attention. The Quarren maintained his hold on the Mythrol as the lead trawler approached the Mandalorian, alleging that the bounty hunter had spilled his drink. When the Mandalorian disregarded him, the lead trawler signaled to the Quarren and the Beta Trawler.
The Quarren released the Mythrol onto the table and moved towards the bar, intending to surround the Mandalorian. The bartender offered the trawler a free replacement drink, but as he slid it towards the human, the Mandalorian intercepted it and threw the contents into the Quarren's face. This caused the trawler to stumble backward, while the Mandalorian shattered the empty mug over the second human trawler's head, before grabbing the Quarren and slamming his head into the bar. Although the lead trawler attempted to stab the Mandalorian, the bounty hunter blocked the knife, redirecting it into the trawler's own back.
With his comrades defeated, the Quarren attempted to escape, but the bounty hunter's whipcord launcher caught him as he passed through the bar's door, causing him to fall. As the hunter pulled the Quarren back through the door, the trawler drew a blaster pistol and fired at him, but the shot was deflected by his Mandalorian armor. The hunter then used his blaster to shoot the door control, causing it to close on the Quarren, who was sliced in half, resulting in his death.
