A bartender, a human male, was employed at a public house situated on the ice planet of Pagodon. Around the time of 9 ABY, he passively observed as three trawlers began to harass a Mythrol within his establishment, taking no action to intervene. Subsequently, a Mandalorian bounty hunter by the name of Din Djarin entered the bar, immediately capturing the attention of the alpha trawler. Following an accusation from the trawler that Djarin had caused him to spill his drink, the bartender offered a complimentary replacement, which Djarin instead used to assault one of the trawlers before swiftly subduing the entire group. The bounty hunter then disclosed his purpose for being there: to claim a bounty on the Mythrol, who promptly surrendered.
Not long after the Galactic Empire's collapse, a human male served as a bartender at the public house in Ferryman's Reach, a settlement on the ice planet Pagodon. Around 9 ABY, a trio of trawlers, headed by a human, began tormenting a Mythrol within the bar while the bartender was on duty. The bartender, along with other patrons, simply watched as the group threatened to remove the Mythrol's gills and sell them at the nearby port. Just as the lead trawler produced a knife and raised it towards the Mythrol's face to begin cutting, a Mandalorian bounty hunter known as Din Djarin walked into the establishment.
The lead trawler, distracted by the new arrival, accidentally knocked over his drink, which he blamed on Djarin. Djarin, in turn, ignored him and proceeded towards the bartender. The trawler then abandoned the Mythrol and approached Djarin, reiterating his accusation that the bounty hunter was responsible for spilling his drink. Because the trawler was not speaking Galactic Basic Standard, the bartender translated for Djarin and then offered to replace the trawler's drink without charge.
While the bartender was pouring the drink, the other two trawlers also moved towards the bar, surrounding Din Djarin. The bartender then attempted to slide the drink down the bar to the lead trawler, but Djarin intercepted it mid-slide and threw the contents into the face of a Quarren trawler before shattering the mug over the head of a second human trawler.
As the bartender looked on in horror, the bounty hunter slammed the Quarren's head into the bar and plunged the lead trawler's knife into his own back. When the Quarren attempted to escape, the bounty hunter then killed it by bisecting the trawler with the bar's telescoping door. Din Djarin then approached the Mythrol and revealed that his presence was to collect a bounty on him. The Mythrol then submitted and departed the bar with Din Djarin.
The bartender wore a brown shirt underneath a brown overcoat.
The bartender made an appearance in Chapter 1 of the 2019 Disney+ television program The Mandalorian, which was broadcast on November 12, 2019. He is played by John Beasley.
