Boss Rogoe was a Gungan warlord who had gone rogue, making his home in the ancient city of Spearhead, a fortress located on the planet of Naboo. He lived Millennia prior to the Imperial Era, and became one of the final points of resistance against Boss Gallo, a warlord who had brought the warring Gungan tribes together as one. Gallo destroyed Spearhead, and then built a new Gungan capital named Otoh Gunga on its ruins.
In Nexus of Power, a 2016 sourcebook by Fantasy Flight Games for the Star Wars: Force and Destiny roleplaying game, Rogoe received a mention in current Star Wars canon. Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, Boss Rogoe was initially referenced within Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Prima's Official Strategy Guide by Steven L. Kent, which was released on November 7, 2001. He then appeared in the LucasArts video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, which came out on November 11 of that same year.
