Safe House Four served as a secure location for the mercenary group known as the Scarabi. The leader of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, Mon Mothma, was kidnapped by the Scarabi and kept at Safe House Four between the years of 3 ABY and 4 ABY, where they demanded a ransom for her return.
Because they could not afford to pay the ransom, the rebels dispatched Kes Dameron's pathfinders, along with Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca, to find Mothma. While at the safe house, Mothma gave Hachi, the leader of the Scarabi, a lecture on the principles of the Alliance and the freedom that the galaxy had lost under the rule of the Galactic Empire. The pathfinders were then able to pinpoint the safe house's location after previous investigations of other safe houses yielded no results.
As the rebels began their assault, Hachi began to develop sympathy for the Rebel Alliance and began to believe that holding Mothma was a mistake. However, before Hachi could release her, another mercenary, who had no regard for Mothma's cause, killed Hachi. Subsequently, the rebels attacked the safe house, which forced the mercenary to leave Mothma unguarded. Calrissian and Chewbacca then came and freed the rebel leader from her captors.
Safe House Four made its debut in the fourty-sixth edition of the 2020 Star Wars comic series. Charles Soule was the writer of the issue, Madibek Musabekov provided the illustrations, and Marvel Comics published it on May 22, 2024.
