Saucer Head was the moniker given to a male sabacc dealer. This individual plied his trade on Vandor circa 10 BBY. Notably, he officiated a game that included the smuggler Lando Calrissian, the notorious outlaw Han Solo, and several other participants.

In the era of the Empire, around 10 BBY, Saucer Head functioned as a sabacc dealer at The Lodge, situated on Vandor. He presided over the card game of the renowned smuggler Lando Calrissian, who at the time was dominating the other players. Subsequently, the outlaw Han Solo entered the game, taking a seat adjacent to Saucer Head. Following the stakes being raised to include their respective starships, Solo began winning consistently. Saucer Head observed fellow players Susaut Volupicite and Karjj, seated nearby, losing to the smuggler. Ultimately, Calrissian secured victory through cheating, thereby retaining possession of his treasured YT-1300 light freighter, known as the Millennium Falcon.
Saucer Head was a male sabacc dealer, and was known to be fluent in Cynogan.
Saucer Head's attire included a round, red hat, along with a breathing mask that concealed his facial features. Completing his ensemble were a black poncho and black gloves.

Saucer Head's initial on-screen appearance was in the 2018 Star Wars Anthology film, Solo: A Star Wars Story, where he was portrayed by an uncredited performer. Later, magician Steven Bridges confirmed his role as the dealer in the aforementioned film. The character's name was first officially recognized on a card within the 2018 Topps Solo: A Star Wars Story trading card collection, released by The Topps Company, Inc. in 2018.
The character design for Saucer Head in Solo was the work of Jake Lunt Davies. The design was originally considered for Enfys Nest, but was later adapted for the sabacc dealer seen in the film, with leather replacing the bone mask element.
Notably, Saucer Head's costume was subsequently repurposed for use in the 2019 television series, The Mandalorian.
