A covert docking station existed just outside the primary buildings of Tipoca City on the planet of Kamino. This docking station was concealed under the water, remaining unseen until a vessel reached the precise coordinates, causing it to rise. The clone named Omega possessed information about this docking station, knowing it provided access to Nala Se's private lab within Tipoca City. During a mission to liberate their commander, Hunter, from the clutches of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, Omega guided her team, Clone Force 99, to this hidden platform.
Typically submerged beneath the oceanic surface of [Kamino](/article/kamino], this clandestine docking station was a circular structure with limited illumination. It would become visible when a spacecraft approached the water's edge at the designated coordinates. Integrated as part of Tipoca City, the platform was linked to Kamino's concealed tunnel network, providing routes to locations such as Nala Se's private lab.

In the year 19 BBY, the renegade clone trooper unit known as Clone Force 99 was instructed by their newest member, the young clone Omega, to utilize this platform. Their objective was to recover their leader, Hunter, who was being held captive by the Galactic Empire. After landing their ship, the Marauder, on the platform, the team successfully infiltrated Tipoca City and rescued Hunter. Following the Empire's attack on Tipoca City, they returned to the platform with their former comrade Crosshair, who had previously sided with the Empire but managed to escape the bombardment alongside his former unit. Despite the utter devastation of the main city structures, the docking platform remained intact. However, as dawn approached and the clones prepared to depart Kamino from the docking platform, Crosshair made the decision not to rejoin them. Instead, he waited on the platform for thirty-two rotations until an Imperial patrol located him.
The docking station made its debut in the episode "Return to Kamino," which was the fifteenth episode of season one of Star Wars: The Bad Batch. This episode was released on August 6, 2021. Concept designs for the clandestine docking station were created by Lucasfilm Animation artist Jim Moore, with one particular rendering being dated to May 30, 2020.
