Seeker's Crown

A Seeker's Crown functioned as both a crown and a significant relic associated with the Ascendant, which was a cult striving to duplicate the Force's effects through technological means. Between the years of 3 ABY and 4 ABY, the archaeologist known as Kho Phon Farrus initiated the use of a black market network to obtain Ascendant artifacts, subsequently killing their respective owners. This was all in pursuit of his ultimate goal: locating the Tomb of the Spark Eternal, where he believed he would discover the Spark Eternal, the Ascendant's most prized possession.

In an effort aimed at thwarting Farrus's plans, fellow archaeologist Chelli Lona Aphra and smuggler Sana Starros orchestrated a scheme. They had Beol De'Rruyet—an operative within the network—create a false listing for an Ascendant artifact. Farrus was alerted to this listing by his droid, and he identified the artifact as potentially being a Seeker's Crown, believing it could provide the key to finding the tomb. Upon Farrus's arrival on the planet Midarr with the intention of acquiring the crown, Aphra and Starros launched an ambush, revealing that the listing was, in fact, a deception.
