Skirmish on Telos

The skirmish on Telos, a conflict that occurred in 3951 BBY within RZ-0031, involved Meetra Surik and her companions against mercenaries employed by the Czerka Corporation with the intent to thwart their activities. Upon discovering that the Exile had arrived at the restoration zone, Corrun Falt contracted mercenaries to prevent any interference with their operations on the planet's surface. These mercenaries were also tasked with capturing the Zabrak engineer, Bao-Dur, who had allied himself with Surik. Ultimately, the group of four triumphed over the mercenaries, gaining access to their base and subsequently locating a shuttle to transport them to the planet's polar region in pursuit of their stolen vessel.

Prelude

Having learned that Meetra Surik and her associates were moving towards their restoration zone on the planet, Corrun Falt instructed the Czerka-affiliated mercenaries to bar her entry to their facilities. The Exile's shuttle met with an attack, as an air defense tower opened fire, causing Atton Rand to execute a crash landing that left them unconscious but unharmed. The engineer Bao-Dur, who was working with the Ithorian herd, found Surik (whom he recognized from the Mandalorian Wars), and together they resolved to locate the Ebon Hawk, which was situated near the Czerka base.

Bao-Dur had been sabotaging Czerka's operations but was eventually captured and imprisoned. However, HK-50 droids infiltrated the base, reactivating dormant droids and defense turrets to eliminate the Czerka personnel. Amidst the chaos, Bao-Dur escaped, utilizing his repulsor fist to break through the force field that had confined him. Czerka dispatched two salvage teams, who were all killed except for a single Twi'lek male, while the mercenaries were assigned to track down Bao-Dur.

Skirmishes

Restoration zone

Surik and her allies initially navigated the restoration zone, where they were compelled to eliminate probe droids and mercenaries. Falt had increased security throughout the zone upon learning of Surik's arrival on the planet. Surik was also forced to engage and kill a Rodian and a Devaronian who had escaped Citadel Station for murder, after the two attempted to kill Surik on behalf of the Exchange. The team also successfully bypassed and deactivated several mines and turrets that were obstructing their path.

A Twi'lek commander also attempted to ambush Surik with mines and her two warbots. However, Surik managed to defeat the droids and the Twi'lek before advancing towards the Czerka base, where she overcame more than ten mercenaries and guards, discovering Falt's involvement from one of the mercenaries. Bao-Dur also utilized the computer terminal at the landing platform to determine that Surik's stolen vessel had been transported to the polar region.

Czerka base

The base was heavily guarded with turrets and poisonous mines that temporarily hindered their progress until they were able to disable them via a computer terminal. Sentries were also patrolling the base and were defeated. Surik and her companions also encountered the Twi'lek survivor whom Czerka had sent to investigate the base, and they assisted him in returning to the entrance for retrieval. Bao-Dur suggested using a shuttle located in the hangar for their escape but noted that access codes were required to open the hangar. The team successfully opened the hangar after defeating several droids but were then forced to defeat a tank droid that was patrolling the hangar.

Aftermath

Surik and her allies successfully escaped the base aboard their shuttle, but the HK-50 droids managed to pinpoint their destination. This allowed the droids to pursue her to the polar region, where they attempted to shoot down her vessel with a homing missile. The droids were defeated, and Surik was reunited with the Jedi Master Atris, who resided in the region with the Handmaiden Sisters.
