The Sphere of Imperial Intelligence, also called the Pyramid of Imperial Intelligence, and subsequently the Sphere of Sith Intelligence, functioned as one of the twelve Spheres of Influence within the Sith Empire. A Dark Councilor was in charge of the Sphere, which had the duty of supervising the primary Intelligence activities carried out by the Empire.
Among the twelve original spheres of influence was the Sphere of Imperial Intelligence. Throughout its history, it supervised multiple analytical and espionage divisions, notably the somewhat independent Imperial Intelligence organization. A minister was the leader of this agency, and they reported directly to the councilor overseeing the sphere.
Prior to staging his own death, Darth Jadus held the position of head of the Sphere. Following his disappearance, he was removed from his leadership role and succeeded by his daughter and apprentice, Darth Zhorrid.
Imperial Intelligence almost completely disintegrated following the Star Cabal Crisis. Darth Zhorrid, aided by the Dark Council and Cipher Nine, restructured the collapsing organization into Sith Intelligence; this new entity, unlike its earlier form, was under Zhorrid's direct control, rather than being an autonomous ministry.
Following the Empire's loss to the Eternal Empire, Empress Darth Acina merged this sphere with the Sphere of Expansion and Diplomacy, creating the Sphere of Galactic Influence.
