A potent alcoholic drink known as a stinger was available for purchase at Siggi's tavern. This establishment was situated in the mining village of U'ronoh, located on the planet of E'ronoh. The stinger's ingredients included syrup derived from the blood of the thylefire scorpion combined with iazacal liquor. Both humans and Mon Calamari were able to drink it without ill effect. During the year 382 BBY, Gella Nattai, a human Jedi Knight, placed an order for a stinger at Siggi's tavern and observed the bartender in the process of mixing it. Upon drinking it, she felt a burning sensation, prompting Iana Percei, the Mon Calamari marshal of the village, to remark that its taste was something that one had to grow accustomed to. Later, Axel Greylark, an envoy from the Galactic Republic, sampled Nattai's stinger but found its taste repulsive.
The stinger was introduced in Convergence, a novel published in 2022 and penned by Zoraida Córdova. This novel formed a component of Phase II of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.
