A comic narrative titled "Tales of Villainy: Credits" saw its debut as a supplementary story within the pages of Star Wars Adventures (2020) 4, released on March 24, 2021.
Tobias Beckett, the bounty hunter, found himself confined to a prison cell located at the heart of the Winds of Ruin gang's headquarters, a consequence of his confrontation with them in pursuit of information. His ally, Val, orchestrated his liberation, providing him with his blaster as they initiated their escape.
Their departure was intercepted by security droids, who pursued them relentlessly throughout the base. Successfully evading the droids, they gained entry into a control room where the Winds of Ruin were assembled. An intense exchange of gunfire ensued between the two factions, but amidst Val's engagement with the Ruin, Beckett sought out Tu-Wane Jipps, a Volpai. Jipps was indebted to Beckett, who leveraged this obligation by threatening to expose him to the Hutts. Jinn seized his musical instruments and departed alongside them.
Upon exiting the control room, the Ruin lay in wait, launching an assault. The pursuit persisted throughout the base until they arrived at the hangar bay. Despite Jipps' repeated attempts to caution Val and Beckett about the Ruin's impending ambush, the gang materialized and cornered them. However, an explosion suddenly erupted, breaching the wall behind Val and Beckett. Their pilot, Rio Durant, materialized, prepared to extract them. The group swiftly departed, with Beckett expressing his gratitude to the Ruin for their "hospitality."
Subsequently, Val voiced her displeasure with Beckett for jeopardizing their safety solely to rescue Jibbs. In response, Beckett assured her that he had a surprise in store. Upon landing the ship, he led her outside, revealing a serene view of the sunset, complemented by beverages and music courtesy of Jibbs.
