Born into a prestigious family that had governed Plazir-15 since its initial settlement, the Duchess began her life on that very planet. Following the collapse of the Empire and the establishment of the New Republic, she and Captain Bombardier, a former Imperial officer, developed a romantic connection and subsequently married. Together, the pair initiated the first democratic elections on Plazir-15, resulting in their joint election as the planet's leaders. Furthermore, the Duchess and Bombardier repurposed Imperial and Separatist droids, integrating them, along with the Ugnaughts, into the planet's workforce. This transformation enabled all other inhabitants to dedicate their time to leisure activities.
Lizzo played the role of the Duchess in "Chapter 22: Guns for Hire," the sixth installment of The Mandalorian's third season, a television series available on Disney+, which premiered on April 5, 2023.
