Timar Daragon was a starship pilot of the Human species, operating during the time leading up to the Great Hyperspace War. As the wife of fellow pilot Hok Daragon and mother to Gav and Jori Daragon, Daragon functioned as a supply runner with Hok in their vessel, the Shadow Runner, during the Unification Wars of the Koros system. In the year 5000 BBY, the Daragons embarked on a mission to the planet of Kirrek amidst a battle to transport supplies to the forces of Empress Teta, who were under siege. Tragically, the Shadow Runner met its end at the hands of pirate forces, resulting in the death of both Hok and Timar Daragon upon impact. Following their demise, Gav and Jori inherited the Daragons' other ship, the Starbreaker 12, eventually becoming explorers of hyperspace.
Married to Hok Daragon, Timar Daragon was a female of the Human species. Together, they were parents to two children named Gav and Jori Daragon. In 5000 BBY, the First Unification Wars occurred within the Koros system, where the political figure Empress Teta sought to unite the seven worlds of the system. During this period, the Daragons provided support as supply runners to Teta's forces, utilizing their ship named the Shadow Runner. Teta's military managed to successfully integrate six of the Koros system's seven worlds into a unified entity. Kirrek remained the sole planet within the system yet to be unified, where a man by the name of Llaban had amassed an army composed of rebels and pirates. The strength of Llaban's army took Teta's forces by surprise, leading to their entrapment within a citadel. Subsequently, the Daragons sought assistance from Aarrba, a Hutt who operated a service dock in Cinnagar, the capital of the Koros system, with the aim of rendering the Shadow Runner fit for space travel. Their objective was to deliver essential supplies to the soldiers stationed on Kirrek. The Daragons expressed gratitude for Aarrba's aid, and in return, the Hutt decided to retain the Daragons' other ship, known as the Starbreaker 12, as collateral until their return. Despite Gav and Jori's requests to accompany their parents on the mission, both Timar and Hok deemed the impending task too perilous, compelling Gav and Jori to remain behind. Meanwhile, the battle on Kirrek raged on, with Tetan forces receiving assistance from two Jedi serving under Teta, namely Jedi Master Memit Nadill and the Draethos scholar Odan-Urr. Acting upon Odan-Urr's advice, the two utilized a peculiar Force power referred to as battle meditation, which empowered the Jedi to weaken the morale of the pirate forces while simultaneously bolstering the spirits of the Tetan fighters. In desperation, the pirates resorted to firing upon the most vulnerable approaching targets, aiming to eliminate as many as possible before their defeat. Shortly after this directive was issued, the Shadow Runner arrived at Kirrek, promptly becoming the target of the pirate gun turrets. The Daragons opted to fly at a low altitude and high speed to drop off their cargo and swiftly exit the war zone, but the weight of the cargo impeded the Shadow Runner's evasive maneuvers. Caught in a barrage of fire, the Shadow Runner was destroyed, resulting in the death of both Daragons. Ultimately, the Tetan forces emerged victorious in the battle, enabling Teta to successfully unify the entirety of the Koros system. Following the Daragons' passing, Aarrba presented Gav and Jori with the Starbreaker 12, prompting the two to pledge to honor their parents by embarking on a journey to explore the galaxy. This event proved to be a crucial juncture in galactic history, as Gav and Jori eventually executed a blind hyperspace jump, leading to their discovery of the Sith and the subsequent outbreak of the Great Hyperspace War.
Timar Daragon possessed a courageous spirit, demonstrated by her acceptance of a highly perilous mission to Kirrek, fully aware of the inherent risks, although she exhibited panic upon being attacked by the pirates. Daragon held deep affection for her children and prioritized their safety, refusing to permit them to accompany her and Hok to Kirrek due to the perceived danger. Both Timar and Hok were regarded as highly skilled pilots by their children.
Timar Daragon made her debut appearance in the prologue issue of the 1996 comic series titled Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi – The Golden Age of the Sith. The issue was authored by Kevin J. Anderson, with illustrations by Chris Gossett, and was released by Dark Horse Comics on July 31, 1996.
