Tomi Jinsin was a male Human male criminal operating on Corellia during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Around the time after the Battle of Yavin, Tomi Jinsin functioned as a hoodlum, belonging to the Ragtag gang. At some point, he also secured formal employment at Ral Mundi's Starship Emporium, a starship construction and repair business located in Coronet City. In 1 ABY, Jinsin exploited his position to facilitate the theft of a substantial cargo of starship parts by the Ragtags. This act of robbery nearly bankrupted the company, compelling Ral Mundi to request assistance from the Corellian Security Force. CorSec Lieutenant Mack Jasper dispatched a spacefarer who ultimately uncovered the truth regarding the missing shipment. Tomi Jinsin sought refuge in a bunker situated near Coronet, but the spacer located him there. During an attempt to resist the spacer, Jinsin was killed. Information extracted from Tomi Jinsin's datapad enabled the spacer to recover the missing shipment from the Coronet Capitol, along with a container of illicit spice. Subsequent investigation by CorSec into the shipment theft and the smuggled spice revealed a conspiracy by the Rogue CorSec to depose the Diktat Daclif Gallamby himself.
Tomi Jinsin appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. This game's servers were deactivated on December 15, 2011.
Tomi Jinsin was incorporated into the game through the "Publish 21," update, released on August 4, 2005. He played a role in the quest titled "Find the Missing Shipment of Starship Components", widely recognized as "Ral Mundi's quest". Ral Mundi's quest underwent revisions with the launch of "Publish 27," on February 15, 2006, at which point the quest was integrated into the "Legacy Quest," which served as the primary storyline within the game.
