Transport CT-05 was a starship of the transport class utilized by the New Republic. It was deployed within the Corellia shipyards to move substantial components from one sector to another. This transport was heavily armed, featuring dual, linked turrets both on its wings and at its rear, providing defense against pursuing vessels. Furthermore, it was equipped with a hyperdrive enabling it to traverse between various star systems.
Around 9 ABY, CT-05 received orders from an Imperial remnant to convey a revitalized hyperdrive core from a Super Star Destroyer (SSD) to the Denab system. The core was intended for integration into the Eye of Sion, a vessel designed for extragalactic travel, with the purpose of retrieving Grand Admiral Thrawn, the Galactic Empire's last Grand Admiral, from a remote galaxy. Ahsoka Tano, a former Padawan, alongside Hera Syndulla, a General of the New Republic, discovered the scheme and attempted to prevent the transport's departure. Failing to halt its launch, Syndulla's astromech droid, C1-10P, instead affixed a homing beacon to the hull of the transport, enabling them to track it to its ultimate destination.
CT-05 made its initial appearance in Part Two: Toil and Trouble, the second episode of the Disney+ television series Ahsoka, which premiered concurrently with Part One: Master and Apprentice on August 22 of 2023.
