Morgan Elsbeth's forces

The military strength under the command of the industrialist Lady Morgan Elsbeth consisted of both starships and ground troops. This force, also known as Morgan Elsbeth's faction, contained an army composed of scout guards, HK-87 assassin droids, and contracted mercenaries; scout guards and mercenaries also served as pilots in various operations. This military was used to maintain control over the city of Calodan on the planet Corvus during Elsbeth's regime.

By the year 9 ABY, Elsbeth utilized her forces to govern the inhabitants of Calodan through intimidation as their magistrate. She also oversaw the destruction of much of the surrounding forest outside the city, exploiting the natural resources of the planet Corvus. However, her rule was brought to an end by the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano alongside the Mandalorian warrior Din Djarin, leading to her subsequent arrest as an Imperial sympathizer by the New Republic.

Even after the loss of Calodan, her military units remained functional and continued to serve her after she was liberated from New Republic custody. They aided covert Imperial loyalists on Corellia in the final stages of construction of the Eye of Sion, a massive, secretly built hyperspace transport ring designed to reach Grand Admiral Thrawn, who was in exile in another galaxy. Upon reaching the extragalactic planet Peridea, Elsbeth's forces were integrated into those commanded by Thrawn.

History

Losing Calodan

A scout guard in Elsbeth army.

In the year 9 ABY, the forces of Morgan Elsbeth were deployed on the planet Corvus. In league with Grand Admiral Thrawn of the Galactic Empire, Elsbeth's army enforced a repressive regime over the city of Calodan, impoverishing its residents. The army consisted of scout guards armed with A350 blaster rifles, as well as HK-87 assassin droids. Alongside her hired gunslinger Lang, Elsbeth's regime held sway over Calodan until she and her army were deposed by the former Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano and the Mandalorian mercenary Din Djarin.

Elsbeth's return

Following Elsbeth's rescue from the New Republic by mercenaries in her employ, [Baylan Skoll](/article/baylan_skoll], a former Jedi Knight, and his apprentice Shin Hati, she and her allies, including the former Imperial Inquisitor Marrok, resumed their quest to locate Thrawn. Elsbeth also continued to utilize her scout guards. After successfully locating Thrawn, Elsbeth's forces were integrated into his Imperial remnant, with Elsbeth herself eventually dying.
