Turl Nevil

Turl Nevil was a Galactic Alliance Defense Fleet ensign of the male persuasion, assigned to the Second Fleet during the Second Galactic Civil War. As the son of the highly decorated Galactic Alliance Captain Kral Nevil, he was positioned as a weapons officer on the frigate known as the Cheesmeer.

During the year 40 ABY, Turl met his death when Sadras Koyan, the Corellian Five World Prime Minister, gave the order to activate the hyperspace tractor beam situated on Centerpoint Station, an ancient space station within the Corellian system. This occurred amidst a skirmish at a deep-space rendezvous point. The resulting explosion obliterated the majority of the Second Fleet, including the Cheesmeer, along with all Corellian forces present at the rendezvous.

Following this devastating event, Jacen Solo, one of the two Chiefs of State governing the Galactic Alliance, inquired of Kral whether he had suffered any familial losses in the destruction. Kral responded by confirming the passing of Turl. Later in the conflict, Kral would implore Cha Niathal, the other Chief of State, to ensure that his son's demise was not in vain.
