Twon Ketee was a planet characterized by its toxic atmosphere and extensive [swamps](/article/swamp], and it served as the native habitat for rathtars.
Rathtars populated Twon Ketee, a planet distinguished by its dense jungles and widespread swamps. Due to its toxic atmosphere, the use of a breath mask was essential for survival there.
An alien hunter was recruited to guide a hunting party to the planet before the Battle of Naboo, but a rathtar killed them all. Darth Maul, the Sith apprentice, also journeyed to Twon Ketee, observing the hunters from a distance. Once the rathtar emerged, Maul dispatched it with a vibro-ax. He then proceeded to eliminate several more of the creatures, in an attempt to satisfy his intense desire for Jedi blood.
A holo-map recovered by Kazuda Xiono, a Resistance spy, during his mission on the Colossus included Twon Ketee as one of the locations marked by the First Order.
The non-canonical game LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2016) was the first appearance of Twon Ketee. Its first canon appearance was in the 2017 comic Darth Maul (2017) 1, with writing by Cullen Bunn and illustrations by Luke Ross.
