The Beta Trawler, a male human trawler, operated in 9 ABY during the New Republic era. Alongside another human and a Quarren, he was present when his two cohorts menaced a Mythrol inside a public house located in Ferryman's Reach, a settlement situated on the ice planet of Pagodon. Throughout the confrontation, he remained silent, allowing his companions to issue the threats.
During this very event, a Mandalorian bounty hunter named Din Djarin came to collect a bounty on the Mythrol. The human, along with his two companions, threatened Djarin. When the bartender slid a drink towards them, Djarin grabbed the drink and smashed it on the human's head, knocking him out. He then proceeded to incapacitate the other human and kill the Quarren.
This human possessed fair skin, blue eyes, a dark brown beard, and a cybernetic left arm. His attire included a coat worn over dark-colored shirt and pants, completed with a knit cap on his head.
The character of Beta Trawler made his debut in the first episode of The Mandalorian, the Disney+ television series from 2019, which premiered on November 12, 2019. Credited as "Beta Trawler," he was brought to life by Ryan Watson, who also served as a stunt coordinator for the production.
