A junior officer of the Duros species operated within Galactic Alliance Security during the year 43.5 ABY. Subsequent to the unsuccessful attempt to detain mentally unstable Jedi Knights Yaqeel Saav'etu and Bazel Warv by Security Captain Atar, the Captain instructed that Jedi Knight Jaina Solo and Imperial Sovereign Jagged Fel, individuals who aided in preventing the apprehension, be prohibited from exiting the premises. The lieutenant, accompanied by a contingent of Security soldiers aboard a high-speed vehicle, obstructed the path of the limousine and engaged in a confrontation with Fel's chaffeur, Baxton. Nevertheless, Atar's arrival soon followed, and Fel, invoking his diplomatic rights, requested authorization to depart. Atar conceded, compelling the Duros to grant them passage.

In 43.5 ABY, a young member of the Duros species held the rank of lieutenant within Galactic Alliance Security, stationed on Coruscant, the galactic capital world. In that era, certain Jedi started to exhibit a form of madness, leading them to believe that their acquaintances had been replaced by duplicates. When Bazel Warv and Yaqeel Saav'etu, both Jedi Knights, succumbed to this psychosis, they were swiftly subdued outside the Jedi Temple's vehicle entrance by Han Solo, Leia Organa Solo, their daughter Jaina Solo, and Jagged Fel, the Imperial Remnant Head of State. A nearby Security unit, under the leadership of Captain Atar, attempted to detain the two Jedi, but Han, Jaina, and Fel had already escorted Saav'etu and Warv into the Temple. Jaina and Fel sought to depart the scene in their luxury vehicle, utilizing Fel's diplomatic immunity, but Atar, in a fit of anger, instructed the Duros to prevent their exit.
The Duros lieutenant, accompanied by several Security troopers, used their Galactic Alliance Security assault speeder to block the limousine's advance. In response, Fel dispatched his driver, Baxton, to request that the Security forces clear the way. The Duros lieutenant, acting under strict orders to prevent Fel's and Solo's departure, confronted Baxton, engaging in a heated exchange with the driver and steadfastly refusing to permit the vehicle to proceed. Javis Tyrr, a reporter, then appeared, and when it was discovered that he was employing a cleaning droid to infiltrate the Jedi Temple for his program, Atar also arrived. The Captain assured Solo that Tyrr would not engage in any unlawful activities, but Fel requested permission for their departure. Due to Fel's diplomatic immunity, Atar was compelled to comply, and the Duros was instructed to move the forces aside.
The Duros lieutenant was attentive to their responsibilities and treated orders with utmost seriousness. They became significantly irritated when Baxton requested them to move, engaging in a prolonged argument with the driver and refusing to allow the limousine to pass until Atar issued the order for it to be permitted through.
The Duros lieutenant made an appearance in Fate of the Jedi: Abyss, a 2009 novel penned by Troy Denning, serving as the third installment in the Fate of the Jedi series.
