When the pilot made a remark implying that the local Batuuan farmers who resided on the planet were incompetent, he got into a brief argument with Julen Rakab, who was a farmer, because the latter took offense to his comments. As the man took an aggressive step in Rakab's direction, Skillen batted him away and grinned, showing off her sharp teeth to get him to stand down. The supervisor quickly dismissed the pilot's sarcastic remarks, informing him that their boss, Hondo Ohnaka, who was formerly a pirate, could easily find someone else to hire if he decided to leave. Following this, she gave instructions to the protocol droid G1-MD to locate a new astromech droid for him to fly with.
By the year 34 ABY, the pilot possessed an aged appearance and had a scar located on his cheek. The individual who was employed by Ohnaka Transport Solutions had red hair and eyebrows that were frizzy. The man was frequently irritated with Skillen due to the fact that she assigned him co-pilots whom he believed to possess only mediocre abilities. In addition, he held the opinion that Batuu was a worthless planet and looked down on the people who lived there.
